Well the Conductor stunk yesterday, but the Conductor didn’t need his pinky anyway. The Conductor would gladly lose a finger on Wednesday in order to knock out Keeneland on Thursday. Let’s Ride.
Race 5: 6 Furlongs. F.OClm 20000
#1 Tia Flor (6/1) – This old mare is in good form and switches back to the dirt today where she runs just as well. Cutting back to a sprint after pressing a hot pace routing last time always catches the Conductor’s eye. He’ll key her in the exacta and tri and she should be a fair price.
Race 6: 1 1/16 Mile. (Turf) Alw 73000n2x
*Gullet Shot of the Day #8 Sabador (8/1) – 2nd off the layoff after pressing a hot pace last time. The winner of that last race, Sugoi, came back to win at 23/1 Saturday.
Race 8: 7 Furlongs. Alw 71000n1x
#3 Blackberry Wine (5/1) – He’s working well off the layoff for a solid barn and his efforts in the spring fit with this group. With natural maturity, he’ll be very Dangerous.
