2/4 with My Cowboy getting the job done at 3/1 made it a positive Wednesday at Canterbury. The Ductor will look at their pick 5 again tonight, but Churchill has got most of his attention. Some quality betting races late. Let’s Ride.
Race 5: 1 Mile. MC 75000
#2 Prime Time Player (3/1) – Dropping in class and stretching out to a mile, he ran vey well despite a troubled start last time. He closed for 2nd behind a moderate pace and galloped out in front of the runaway leader.
Race 7: 7 Furlongs. OC 62500n2x
*Gullet Shot of the Day Necker Island (12/1) – In his first start as a 4 year old last time, he ran very well despite being steadied at the turn. He showed talent last year and he has been screaming for a cutback in distance. He gets that today and the Ductor is praying the morning line is accurate.
Race 8: 5½ Furlongs. (Turf) Mdn 100k
#1 Lead (10/1) – This maiden race is wide open and this 1st time starter caught the Ductor’s attention. The 700k son of Runhappy is working his eyeballs out. Van Dyke takes the mount for a barn he never rides for as well.
