The Ductor’s horses yesterday still haven’t finished. He’ll be sleeping in the sewer this weekend if the chalk keeps winning. Back on the horse Skip.

Race 2: 5½ Furlongs. (Turf) F.S.OC 45000n2x

#3 Beaux Arts (15/1) – 3rd off the layoff today after just missing vs open company at Monmouth last time, this girl has run in the exacta a ridiculous 11/12 times at this distance. She prefers 2nd, but she can spice up the verticals at a nice number.

Race 5: 5½ Furlongs. (Turf) F.Mdn 100k

*Gullet Shot of the Day #9 Sand and Sea (10/1) – She broke slow in the slop in her debut and the got caught in a duel last time on dirt. She’s been hammered at the windows in both starts and her pedigree suggests she’ll be able to run on the lawn. The Ductor thinks there is a lot more under the hood than she has shown.

Race 9: 1 Mile. (Inner Turf) F.George-G3 Lake George Stakes

#5 Jouster (7/2) – The lone speed in a NYRA turf race. We’ve all seen this before.
