Saratoga: Key Horses for Wednesday, July 28
1 min read
Looks like it’s fast and firm after a questionable forecast. Lets jump on them early this week and keep the hammer down. Skip.
Race 8: 5½ Furlongs. (Turf) Alw 103000n1x
#1 Charmed (15/1) – The Ductor thought he ran a very good race off the bench and at this distance last time. Making his 2nd start in the US today, he doesn’t have to improve too much to win against a field without any standouts.
Race 9: 6 Furlongs. G2 Honorable Miss Handicap
#4 Lake Avenue (9/2) – This filly thrives when she’s sprinting, her poor races have all come going longer. She’s working well and will have a thunderous late punch shortening to 6 furlongs.
Race 10: 1 1/16 Mile. (Turf) MC 40000
*Gullet Shot of the Day #10 Bunker Hill (8/1) – He broke last and ran ok running behind a slow pace with a wide trip last time. Dropping in class 2nd off a long layoff today, the Ductor thinks he is very dangerous. He’s working well too.
