Race 12: 1 1/4 Mile. G1 Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic
#4 Essential Quality (3/1) – The Ductor has been impressed by this colts grit all year and he looks to get a perfect trip in this race, sitting just behind a contested pace. The battle between him and #3 Hot Rod Charlie (4/1) in the Belmont was the best race the Ductor’s eyes have seen this season and he thinks they’ll be duking it out down the stretch again. These colts are serious race horses.
#1 Tripoli (15/1) – He’s price the Ductor likes best to get into the trifecta. He had a no chance trip last time, but has become very good since switching to dirt. His win over this Del Mar track in the Pacific Classic was very good and he should get a dream trip here. With Irad aboard, he’ll save ground at the rail and be flying late, while the contenders duke it out early. If the pace is suicidal, the Ductor can even see him winning and sending all of the passengers who don’t go to ponyconductor.com home crying. Don’t worry, you’re not one of those dummies. Skip.
