Record: 0/1, ROI $0.00
We swung for the fences yesterday and came empty, but the Ductor has no regrets. Mondays and Tuesday will be the hardest days in the challenge while the Ductor regains his Parx form. Game selection is a very important part of this challenge. The Ductor will only be playing races with big fields with what he deems over bet favorites. If you think he’s going to start picking chalk to up his winning % you are a dumb passenger and haven’t been paying attention. The ROI is the goal. There is one price the Ductor really likes today, simple choice. Skip.
Race 5: 1 1/16 Mile. (Turf) OC 25000n1x
#5 Ricochet (15/1) – This ridgling is entering today off a short break but is working well for a barn that has them ready to run off the bench. He’s outrun his odds all four times since switching to the turf and ran a strong 3rd with a tough trip at Keeneland last time. He made an early move 4- wide into a hot pace and still hit the board. There is absolutely no pace in this race on paper and he has the early pace figures to get an easy lead if he wishes. The Ductor is praying they send him to the front, but either way he should work out a nice trip up close to a moderate pace. Let’s take a big early lead in this challenge ourselves. Skip.
