2022 Pony a Day Challenge: January 28th, Oaklawn Park Race 8

Record: 2/24, $2.97 ROI

The Ductor has sucked this week, but there’s been slim pickings as far as good betting races are concerned. Finally, Oaklawn’s full fields are back, and the Pegasus is only one sleep away. Tomorrows Gulfstream picks will be up later today. Time to load more coal, Skip.

Race 8: 1 1/16 Mile. OC 80000b

#7 Trident Hill (12/1) – The Brad Cox runners are the ones to beat in here, but the Ductor doesn’t think they’re synchs, and they’ll be over bet. This horse ran well off the bench last time going longer and expectedly tired late. Shortening in distance and with a race under his belt today, he’ll be fit and looks primed to run a top effort. His form last summer and fall give him every chance in here and the Ductor is expecting over 6/1. Let’s have a Friday, Skip
