#5 They Shot Sonny (10/1) – Dropping in class and making his 3rd start off the layoff, this gelding’s form is muddied literally. He’s exiting two subpar efforts on sloppy tracks and will finally get back to a fast dirt track and his best distance today. He looks primed for his A race and he has plenty of past performances that can beat this group. We should get a fair price above 8/1 as well.
