The Ductor was waiting as long as possible to see the weather and scratches. It looks like they will stay on the turf at Belmont Park for now, hopefully the rain holds off. Let’s pick up where we left off last week, whacking them right between the eyes. Skip.

Belmont Park Race 6: 7 Furlongs. (Turf) Alw 50000s

*Gullet Shot of the Day #7 Determined Fury (6/1) – This gelding is steadily progressing and showed a nice closing kick last time. He’s 1/1 over this Belmont turf course and he looks to get a nice trip sitting behind a contested pace. The Ductor likes the switch rider to Rosario, who suits his running style nicely.

Race 7: Mile. S.Mdn 75k

#9 Seizer (15/1) – The Ductor is a little leery of the heavy favorite in here and thinks this gelding has major upside. He took some money in his debut at Saratoga and showed early speed before fading in the slop. He’s working well entering today and should get a good or fast track for the first time. In a race devoid of any other speed, the Ductor will take a shot.

Race 9: 7 Furlongs. (Turf) Clm 40000n2L

#2 Bardolino (6/1) – This colt ran well vs tougher last time and has shown talent in his young career. Dropping in class today he should get a favorable trip up up close to a moderate pace.
