The Conductor is on vacation for a wedding this week. He’s not getting married, he’s not an idiot but he’s got a lot of things like unlimited stews and gators on the golf course to worry about. He apologizes about leaving the passengers out to dry Thursday, but not really.  He has been so generous to us we can’t complain anyway. Let’s have ourselves a weekend at Belmont Park. Let’s Ride.

Race 5: 1 1/16 Mile. (Inner Turf) Clm 50000

#2 Go Poke the Bear (4/1) – 1st off the claim for Brad Cox, he has a serious late punch.

Race 6: 1 1/16 Mile. (Turf) S.MC 40000

#7 Preson Court (10/1) – Dropping to the claiming ranks for the first time, he adds blinkers and showed ability in his debut.  He’s had troubled trips in his last two starts.

Race 7: 1 1/16 Mile. Clm 25000

#2 Poker Game (15/1) – He’s Run races vs tougher that make him competitive in here. The Conductor will key him at a bomb in the exacta.

Race 8: 1 1/8 Mile. (Inner Turf) G3 Pennine Ridge Stakes

*Never a Doubt Friday Night Bottle Service Lock of the Day #1 Value Proposition (5/2) – He looked like the goods in his maiden breaker.  Surprisingly, Chad Brown holds the two winning cards in this one.

Race 9: 6 Furlongs. (Inner Turf) Clm 25000

*Gullet Shot of the Day #2 Ghost Giant (12/1)  He’s off a layoff, but is working well for solid connections. He like the Belmont turf and his races last fall give him every chance.
