*#1 Dennis’ Moment (8/5) – He’s the one to beat plain and simple. He’s working like a monster by all accounts.
#2 Wrecking Crew (20/1) – Stretching out for the first time, he’ll be a bomb and has upside. The Conductor will use him underneath while most wont.
#3 Shoplifted (20/1) – He’s not fast enough.
#4 Storm the Court (20/1) – It’s a home game for him with strong connections, maybe he can clunk up for 3rd.
*#5 Scabbard (8/1) – This colt is the price the Conductor thinks has a major chance. In his first time routing he steadied and lost all momentum going into the far turn and still came running at #1 Dennis’ Moment. If the #1 gets beat, this is the boy to do it.
#6 Eight Rings (2/1) – The Bobo Baffert runner with all the hype, he is an obvious contender but the Conductor is slightly against him. He wasn’t impressed with his finish in the American Pharoah Stakes and will be heavily bet. He may get loose on the lead again however so the Conductor can’t be completely against him.
#7 Anneau d’Or (15/1) – This is asking a lot in his first dirt race.
#8 Full Flat (30/1) – No shot.
