Not a great Saturday at Belmont, but 15/1 gullet shot of the day running 2nd hopefully made some passengers score. The Conductor can’t wait to fry his pasty body in the sun today. Let’s Ride.

Race 1: 6½ Furlongs. Clm 10000

#1 Gypsum Johnny (4/1) – The drop in class helped him more than the slop last race in the Conductor’s opinion. He has the figures to get the job done and posted a bullet work recently.

Race 2: 1 Mile. (Turf) F.MC 40000

#7 Miss Rombauer (7/2) – She drops to the claiming ranks for the 1st time and has been heavily backed at the windows vs much tougher competition.

Race 3: 1 Mile. F.S.Alw 66000n1x

#3 Not About the Nail (7/5) – This ol’ mare had a troubled trip last start and stretches back out to a mile where she is best. She loves to win.

Race 4: 1 1/18 Mile. (Inner Turf) F.S.Mdn 62k

#2 Paved With Gold (7/2) – Her debut got rained off the turf and she still ran a decent 3rd.  Getting to run on her preferred surface for top connections, she’ll be tough.

Race 5: 1 1/16 Mile. (Turf) F.Clm 35000n3L

Never a Doubt Lock From God #1 Keota (7/2) – 2nd off the layoff and dropping back to the claiming ranks, she had no pace to run at last time.  The Conductor sees her as a standout and she may be the 3rd choice in the betting.

Race 6: 1 1/16 Mile. F.S.OC 40000n2x

*Gullet Shot of the Day #3 Blame the Theif (20/1) – Throw out her recent efforts on a sloppy track and her figures fit right in. The Conductor will certainly key her in the exacta and trifecta.

Race 7: 1 1/16 Mile. (Inner Turf) F.Alw 50000s

#4 Architect (6/1) – 1st off the claim for trainer Linda Rice, the Tampa Bay Shippers continue to fire in New York.

Race 8: 1 1/8 Mile. OC 62500n2x

#2 Turco Bravo (5/1) – This 10-year-old war dog continues to run. Furthermore, he’ll be forwardly placed and run his race.

Race 9: 6½ Furlongs. S.Mdn 62k

#10 Bears Mafia (6/1) – Cutting back to a sprint after moving early into a hot pace last start at Belmont, he’s an easy bet back for the Conductor.
