#5 Eye’s On You (9/2) – Shipping in from Finger Lakes, she’s a hard knocker and her figures fit right in with this group. The Conductor will key her in the exacta.

*Gullet Shot of the Day #4 Old Chestnut (6/1) – This colt has shown talent sprinting in his young career and he’s stretching out today for the first time. His late pace figures suggest this won’t be a problem.

#4 Fled (5/1) – This gelding found his identity as a turf sprinter this summer. His win two back at Saratoga gives him every chance against this group.

*Gullet Shot of the Day #1 Danny California (8/1) – Stepping up in class, he’s won two in a row by open lengths and is steadily progressing. Against a weak field, the Conductor will take a shot with the hot horse at a nice price.

#6 Harris Bay (7/2) – Cutting back to a sprint after chasing a hot pace going a mile, the Conductor loves this colt.

Decent bounce back Thursday with prices running underneath and a short priced winner. Let’s get the train into 2nd gear, Let’s Ride.

Race 3: 6 ½ Furlongs. F.MC 30000

*Gullet Shot of the Day #2 Mayas Miracle (8/1) – In her debut on grass she had a troubled trip and still finished well to only be beaten two lengths. She adds Lasix today, moves to dirt for the first time and Rosario hops aboard.

#5 Cerretalto (10/1) – This gelding has had some time off after being eased last start. He’s an Aqueduct specialist and his figures fit with this group. He looks to get a perfect trip sitting behind a hot pace.

Race 7: 1 Mile. S.OC 40000n2x

#8 Singapore Trader (10/1) – 2nd off the layoff and stretching back out to his best distance, he didn’t run a step last time but was bet to favoritism. Johnny V hops back aboard and Pletcher keeps him protected at this level, which is a good sign. The Conductor will forgive his last effort and bet he runs well here.

Race 9: 1 1/16 Mile. (Turf) F.MC 40000

#7 Roma Delight (4/1) – Dropping in class, the Conductor really liked her effort two back and she didn’t get any pace to run at last time. The Conductor likes her at this number and above.

The Conductor’s Breeders’ Cup Recap

Finally a big winner on the biggest stage for the Conductor. He was all over that late pick 4, so hopefully you passengers were able to make some money. Vino Rosso got the job done impressively and continued his steady progression this year. The Conductor had a lot of distractions this weekend, so he wasn’t able to fire as much as he would have liked. Still a great day and we’ll get back to our regular grind tomorrow. No matter if its the Breeders’ Cup Classic or a 10k maiden claimer, there is money to be made and there is always another race in 20 minutes. The war wages on.
