Both favorites close. #9 Golden Tempo (5/2) and #5 Renegade (3/1) need a fast pace and there isn’t one. The Conductor thinks the favorites will be overbet.
The Puma and Sea Strike and Emerging Market are also potential upsetters. Renegade and Golden Tempo can finish underneath, but the Conductor doesn’t see either winning.
