He ran well against a colt named Conqueror in his debut, who has come back to have two dominant victories. Additionally, this is a weak field with the scratches and MotownCharlybrown will skip home with ease.

#9 Nigel’s Destiny (12/1) – He’s drawn well to the outside and the Conductor thinks the favorites are vulnerable in here. He’s faced tougher competition in New York most of his career and also has the back class and numbers to win if he shows up. His work tab suggests he will.

#8 Doctorsofmischief (8/1) – She’s in career form and her last start at this level was ultra-impressive. She pressed the pace the whole way around and was just nailed by a closer in the final strides. A repeat effort will put her right there at the wire.
