#3 Valedictorian (5/2) – She’s a very consistent mare and very classy. She’ll likely be a better price than she should be with Chad Brown likely to take all the money

#5 Mucho Gusto (2/1) – Shipping in for Bob Baffert, the Conductor is going to play against #7 Maximum Security (8/5). They are going to fly up front in this running of the Haskel. The Conductor sees this colt getting a perfect setup and out finishing the other contenders down the stretch.

#5 Out of Trouble (4/1) – She ran a decent 3^rd off a long layoff last time. She’ll take a step forward today with more fitness.

Race 14: 6 Furlongs. F.Mdn 47.5k

#5 Goddess of Cash (3/1) – 1^st timer for Servis, she’s working well and Paco hops aboard. Her sire hits at 16% with debut runners and her dam is 5/5 producing winners. Servis will want to show off on Haskell Day.

#7 Therisastormbrewin (8/1) – Dropping in class, 1^st time gelding and adding blinkers, the ultimate equipment change is always dangerous.

#5 Queen Kahen (6/1) – She’s working well 2^nd off the claim for Linda Rice. Linda is 22% with a +$0.17 ROI switching horses from turf to dirt this year.

#1 Dearly Declared (4/1) – 2^nd off the layoff, she’s shown some very quick early pace figures and will appreciate the shorter distance. With the poor rail draw the Conductor sees her price floating up.

#7 Mrs. Danvers (7/2) – This filly is working well at Saratoga by all counts and Rosario hops aboard.

#2 Willing to Speed (6/1) – He’s the best turf horse of the bunch in the Conductor’s eyes. However, he does have a case of 2nditus. The Conductor thinks the switch to Irad will get him over the hump.

*Gullet Shot of the Day #6 Midnight Tea Time (10/1) – 2^nd off the layoff, his last two races have been rained off the turf. He gets back to his preferred surface today and is a very consistent runner. The Conductor will key him in the exacta and trifecta.

#4 Honorable Treasure (12/1) – 2^nd off the layoff, he won nicely last start in his return to the races. His figures fit, and he looks to get a nice setup with a hot pace to run at today.

#7 Blowout (2/1) – A 4 horse Saratoga field with 3 Chad Brown runners? What a joke of a betting race.

The rain came and off the turf made Saratoga unplayable yesterday. The forecast says its going to hold off today, so the Conductor capped as such. If the races come off, the Conductor won’t play with the small fields (He probably still will). At Del Mar, the Conductor’s 5/2 lock of the day was victorious, but his price horses are still haven’t finished. Now excuse the Conductor as he goes to play in a scramble. Fore! Let’s Ride.

#3 Fierce Lady (1/2) – Her debut was dominant.

#3 Channel Island (10/1) – This colt will have no problem getting the distance and the Conductor loved his fight last time, sticking his neck out to give the Conductor some loot.

#4 Surprise Fashion (10/1) – Stretching out to a dirt route for the first time, the Conductor sees him stepping forward. He will key him in the exacta as the likely highest price on the board.

#5 Starting Bloc (4/1) – The Conductor liked his finish last time having to wait behind horses. He is steadily progressing this year.

Race 3: 1 Mile. Clm 16000

#1 Oh Man (7/2) – Dropping back to the claiming ranks, he has the best races at this distance in the field.

Race 4: 6 Furlongs. Clm 20000

#5 Giddymeister (5/2) – Winner of 3 of his last 4, he is in good form and keeps getting better.

#6 Kiana’a Love (6/1) – She moves into the Peter Miller barn and he takes the blinkers off, which is a positive ROI move for him this year. This filly showed real talent in her debut win.

#2 Roger That (30/1) – The Conductor likes #8 Gregorian Hunt (7/2), and if you like him you must like Roger That at 8 times the price. He was only beaten 1 ¼ lengths by Gregorian Hunt in Ireland and he stretches out to a route today for the 1^st time. The Conductor will key him in the trifecta.

*Gullet Shot of the Day #6 Jack Van Berg (20/1) – 1^st time out for the Michael Puhich barn, he ran a good 3^rd against a tough 12-horse field at Churchill last time. In this sprint without much pace, his early/turn pace figures make him very dangerous at a big number. The Conductor will key him in the exacta and trifecta.

Solid Sunday for the Conductor as his lock and gullet shot of the day found themselves in the winner’s circle. We made a little money back from a poor opening week at Saratoga and now we must keep up the momentum. With Del Mar opening on Wednesday, the Conductor will have his full card top picks for both Saratoga and Del Mar thru the rest of the meets. His generosity knows no bounds. The racing summer is upon us, Let’s Ride.

Race 1: Jumper Race – Pass

Race 2: 6 Furlongs. S. Rick Violette Stakes 100k

#3 Mission Wrapitup (7/5) – His debut blowout win was very impressive.

Race 3: 5 ½ Furlongs. (Turf) OC 62500n2x

#9 Fully Vested (2/1) – 2^nd off the layoff, this gelding ran a very good 2^nd last time in his first try on turf. He has serious early pace figures on dirt as well.

Race 4: 1 Mile. (Inner Turf) Clm 40000

*Gullet Shot of the Day #2 Hope Again (9/2) – 3^rd off the layoff, he’s steadily progressing and won easily last start. Those are the types of runners the Conductor likes stepping up in class.

Race 5: 5 ½ Furlongs. F.Mdn 75k

#8 Devils Rendezvous (10/1) – This filly is working well, and her sire is winning at a 22% clip with 1^st timers. Additionally, the Conductor likes that Rosario hops aboard.

Race 6: 5 ½ Furlongs. (Turf) F.Clm 30000n2L

#2 Avacado Toast (6/1) – She’s lightly raced and trending in the right direction. She also gets a small weight break.

Race 7: 1 Mile. (Inner Turf) Mdn 90k

#7 Embellisher (5/1) – The two Chad Brown runners (6,9) are the ones to beat, but the Conductor will key this boy in the exacta. In his first start on turf last time, he set a hot pace and held on for a good 3^rd. He gets a rider switch to Leparoux, who is very adept at rating speed horses on the front end.

#13 Daddy Knows (1/1) – The lone MTO runner for Linda Rice, he looks tough to beat.

#5 Ferdinanda (7/2) – She looks to get a perfect stalking trip sitting behind a hot pace. The Conductor’s only concern is her affinity to run 2^nd. He’ll key her in the exacta.

With Saratoga opening tomorrow, the Conductor will keep the train in the station and give you passengers some time to prepare. He’ll give you some specific plays tomorrow, but he’s already done the heavy lifting. It’s an absolute handicapping battle with these cards. Full fields and all connections pointing their horses for a win at the Spa. The Conductor will be sure to press when he’s up and chase when he’s down. May the Pony Gods bless us this meet, Let’s Ride.

Race 1: 1 3/16 Mile. Clm 14000n3L

#6 Tiz No Bluff (5/1) – 3^rd off the layoff, he looks to build on a very strong last race. He pressed a hot pace and then blew away the competition.

Race 2: 5 ½ Furlongs. (Turf) Mdn 90k

#1 Cain V and D C (30/1) – The major step up in class off a year layoff and recent bullet works give the Conductor a funny feeling in his left knee. He’ll key him in the trifecta.

Race 3: 1 1/8 Mile. Alw 92000n1x

*Never a Doubt Best Bet of the Day #7 The Rock Says (4/1) – This colt has faced full fields and pressed hot paces in every start. He’s improving, and the Conductor is going to look to shippers on dirt early in the Saratoga meet with how weak the Belmont fields were.

#8 Bemma’s Boy (12/1) – 1^st off the claim for Maker, he’s switching back to the lawn where he’s run his best.

#10 Wegetsdamunnys (6/1) – 3^rd off the layoff, she’s had no pace to run at and has closed well in her two starts this year. She looks primed for a peak effort.

*Gullet Shot of the Day #3 His Glory (15/1) – The Conductor will go for glory here. This filly looked like the goods in her debut romp and will be ignored because she’s shipping from Indiana. Other runners have come back to improve their speed figures by 30 points, which tells the Conductor her effort was much faster than it looks on paper.

#10 Sombeyay (6/1) – 3^rd off the layoff, he showed talent on dirt as a 2-year-old and also has a little turf in his pedigree. He’s been working well on turf, so the Conductor will trust Pletcher.

Decent day at Parx yesterday. Not a lot of big prices, but the winners were coming home. Let’s keep the train rolling. Let’s Ride.

Race 1: 1 Mile. F.Clm 7500n2L

#3 Linda Listen (7/5) – This filly needs to bounce back, but she’s still lightly raced and has run by far the best figures in the field. The Conductor wants to play against her but doesn’t like the other contenders.

Race 2: 5 Furlongs. F.MC 10000

#9 Pablo’s Dream (6/1) – Shipping in from California after a long layoff she’s facing much weaker today, she doesn’t have to do much to beat this field.

Race 3: 6 Furlongs. F.S.Mdn 40k

#6 J J Loves Billy (5/1) – This filly ran well in her debut and with a natural step forward she’ll have every chance.

Race 4: 6 Furlongs. Clm 5000

*Gullet Shot of the Day #8 Surfing USA (8/1) – This old man is dropping in class and the conditions look to hit him right between the eyes.

Race 5: 7 ½ Furlongs. (Turf) Clm 20000

#9 Baseline (9/2) – This group is tightly bunched on numbers and he’s exiting much tougher races. Class on the grass.

#1 Devine Dental (2/1) – He looks to be cycling back to his top effort and that will make him tough to beat.
