Del Mar time, Let’s Ride.

Race 1: 6 Furlongs. F.MC 40000

#2 So Much Happy (8/1) – She set a scorching pace last time and is cutting back to a sprint and switching back to dirt. Her early pace figures make her dangerous, she was able to get the lead vs maidens in her debut as well.

#7 C Falls (4/1) – Making his 3rd career start, he took a nice step forward last time. With natural progression the Conductor likes his chances.

Race 3: 6 Furlongs. Alw 50000s

*Gullet Shot of the Day #3 Big Barrel (8/1) – He took a big step forward at Del Mar last start, but the Conductor doesn’t think it was a fluke. He showed ability last year and the Conductor sees it natural progression. He gets a weight break against this group as well.

Del Mar

#1 My Aunt Tillie (6/1) – This mare is returning off a long layoff, but trainer Myke Puype brings them back ready and she’s run well fresh before. If she runs her race she’ll have every chance and Van Dyke taking the mount is a good sign.

Race 6: 5 ½ Furlongs. F.S.CTBAB Stakes 100k

*Never a Doubt Lock of the Card #7 Cholula Lips (2/1) – If she runs her last race vs tougher at Churchill, it will tough for the others beat to jump up and beat her, let alone if she takes a step forward. Her works leading into today suggest she’s ready to run.

Del Mar

Race 7: 1 Mile. (Turf) Alw 50000s

#9 Honos Man (6/1) – Shipping in from Churchill after a nice win last start, the Kentucky invaders have run well on the turf this meet. The Conductor will load up the caboose if we get that price.

The Conductor’s Wednesday Preview at Saratoga

Horses and jockeys racing at the Saratoga Race Course with starting gates in view.

Decent Sunday for the Conductor. We had a 7/1, 5/2, 4/1 winning streak in the beginning of the card, but couldn’t get the knockout late. The Conductor shall not rest until he defeats Saratoga. Back to the lab, Let’s Ride.

*Never a Doubt Early Pick 5 Single #7 Niko’s Dream (8/5) – 3rd off the layoff, she narrowly missed closing into a slow pace last time. The Conductor loves her.

Saratoga

Race 5: 5 1⁄2 Furlongs. (Turf) F.Mdn 75k

#7 Blessingsofliberty (8/1) – Trainer Michael Trombetta is 10% with a +$0.70 ROI with debut runners on turf this year. The Conductor doesn’t like the runners with experience in here. He’s looking at the fist timers.

Race 6: 51⁄2 Furlongs. F.Mdn 90k

#2 Tulanian (7/2) – That 59 flat 5 furlong work at Churchill three back catches the Conductor’s eye.

Race 7: 1 1/16 Mile. (Inner Turf) F.Alw 92000n1x

#2 Masch (6/5) – Her European form lays over this field.

*Gullet Shot of the Day #6 Theaterintheround (10/1) – This girl has an early pace edge over this group. The Conductor sees her scampering away on the front end.

Saratoga

Race 9: 7 Furlongs. F.Shine Again Stakes 100k

#2 Talk Veuve to Me (2/1) – The Conductor has always been a fan of this mare. He sees her getting the job done at Saratoga.

Race 10: 1 1/16 Mile. (Turf) F.MC 40000

#8 To a Friend (3/1) – She’s taking blinkers off, which is a profitable angle for trainer Jonathon Thomas. She showed ability in her debut at Gulfstream.

Sabbath Sunday: The Conductor’s Prayers at Saratoga

Dynamic horse race featuring jockeys in colorful silks, showcasing speed and competition on a dirt track.

Saratoga: The only place on earth where you can get your face smashed in at the windows all day and still have a good time. The Conductor will be back….he just needs to pick up a few more jobs first. Let’s Ride.

Race 1: 6 Furlongs. S.Mdn 78k

#5 Fifty Cents (8/1) – Saez takes the mount for a low volume Gulfstream trainer who has yet to have a starter at Saratoga. This colt’s sire wins at a 18% clip with 1st timers and the Conductor has a funny feeling that this boy is live.

Race 2: 7 Furlongs. Clm 14000n3L

#1 Stink Man (12/1) – He’s dropping in class 1st off the claim and gets a rider upgrade to Rosario. His win two back gives him every chance against this group.

Race 3: 5 1⁄2 Furlongs. (Turf) Alw 50000s

#4 Our Srormin Norman (8/1) – 2nd off a long lay-off, he ran a solid 2nd at Churchill last start. He’s bred to like the turf and has never tried sprinting on the lawn. The Conductor likes his upside.

Race 4: 7 Furlongs. S.Alw 80000n1x7

#1 Kazmania (4/1) – 3rd off the layoff, he returns quickly from a start at Saratoga where he had a troubled trip. The Conductor sees him taking a step forward vs an average field and he gets a rider upgrade as well.

Race 5: 1 Mile. (Turf) Clm 30000n2L

#5 Clyde’s Runner (7/2) – The Conductor doesn’t have a strong opinion in here, but he’s logical.

Race 6: 1 1/8 Mile. Clm 40000

#7 Super Dude (6/1) – He was up against it last time, trying to close into a slow pace. He adds blinkers today, which should help his early position.

Race 7: 1 Mile. (Inner Turf) F.Mdn 90k

#9 Aymara (8/1) – She’s stretching out and switches back to the turf, which she is bred to do. Her debut was better than it looked closing into a slow pace over a speed favoring Gulfstream turf course.

Race 8: 6 Furlongs. F.S.Mdn 78k

#4 Queenofeverything (6/1) – She ran poorly over a sloppy track last time, but her race two back on a fast dirt track gives her every chance. Trainer James Bond is red hot at toga.

Race 9: 51⁄2 Furlongs. (Turf) Alw 50000s

*Gullet Shot of the Day #8 Macho Blue (15/1) – Stepping up in class, this gelding has won 3 in a row and is very quick early. This group is not very strong for this level.Saratoga

Race 10: 1 3/8 Mile. (Inner Turf) F.OC 25000n1x

*Never a Doubt Best Bet From God #3 Dyna Passer (4/1) – Dropping out of Grade 1 company, she ran well to split the field closing into a slow pace. That price would be more than enough for the Conductor.

Saratoga

Race 11: 6 1/2 Furlongs. G2 Amsterdam Stakes

#5 Honest Mischief (7/2) – He moved early in the Woody Stephens, a race that favored closers. This colt has loads of talent, his maiden breaker at Keeneland was freaky good.

Race 12: 5 1/12 Furlongs. (Turf) F.S.MC 40000

#3 Traci’s Girl (8/1) – There’s 12 runners, throw a dart.

The Conductor’s Jim Dandy Day Plays at Saratoga

Race 1: 5½ Furlongs. (Turf) MC 40000

#6 Blacktop Legend (6/1) – Making his 2nd start off the claim for Gary Guillo, this gelding cuts back to a sprint after pressing a hot pace going a route last time.

Race 3: 5½ Furlongs. (Turf) Clm 25000

Race 4: 5½ Furlongs. Mdn 90k

#5 Kawalski (4/1) – Well bet in his debut, he got off to a slow start and ran well to close for 3rd into a slow pace. With experience, the Conductor sees him taking a big step forward.

Race 5: 1 1/16 Mile. (Inner Turf) OC 62500n2x

#5 Prioritize (10/1) – Chad Brown will likely win this race with either the #2 or #7, but the Conductor will key this boy in the exacta. Making his 3rd start off the layoff, he’s had no pace to run at in his last two starts. With a fair setup he’ll be right there at the wire.

Race 6: 6 Furlongs. F.S.Alw 80000n1x

#9 More Mischief (9/2) – Making her 2nd start of the year, she’s steadily progressing and looks to get a perfect strip up close to a slow pace.

Race 7: 1 1/16 Mile. (Turf) Mdn 90k

#5 Economic Policy (5/2), #2 Blanket of Roses (6/1) – Chad Brown

Race 8: 6 Furlongs. Alw 92000n1x

#9 Overdeliver (3/1) – Cutting back to a sprint, he looks to get a perfect staking trip drawn to the outside with a wicked pace up front.

Race 9: 6 Furlongs. G1 Alfred G. Vanderbilt H.

*Gullet Shots of the Day #2 Strike Power (6/1) and #7 Do Share (15/1) – The Conductor sees the favorite #1 Mitole (1/1) vulnerable in here. Strike Power ran a monster race behind Catalina Cruiser last start and will put mighty pace pressure on Mitole, who must send from the rail.  The Conductor thinks Strike Power has a major chance to pull the upset and will also give Do Share one more shot. There is a possibility of a pace meltdown in here and Do Share will be flying late at a juicy number.

Jim Dandy

Race 10: 1 3/8 Mile. (Inner Turf) G2 Bowling Green Stakes

#3 Ya Primo (8/1) – Watch the replay of her last start in Chile. She has major trouble at the start and still obliterates a 15-horse field. The Conductor doesn’t care who she beat, she has talent and is in Chad Brown’s hands.

Race 11: 1 1/8 Mile. G2 Jim Dandy Stakes

*Never a Doubt Feature Race Lock of the Day #4 Global Campaign (2/1) – In a race devoid of pace, the Conductor sees him controlling the race on the front end. Gate to wire, #5 Tacitus (7/5) will be too far back to run him down.

Jim Dandy

Race 12: 1 Mile. (Turf) Clm 30000n2L

#4 My Macho (5/1) – He’s lightly raced and trending in the right direction.

*Gullet Shot of the Day #7 Colonel Tom (8/1) – 2nd off the layoff, he drops back into state-bred company and has the fastest early pace figures in the field. He’ll be a big price at Saratoga because jockey Dylan Davis has yet to find the winners circle this meet.
