The Conductor couldn’t find a winner if it kicked him in the teeth yesterday.  Oaklawn told him to shove it.  The Conductor won’t let Oaklawn get away with this and he is out for blood today.  Let’s head into the weekend in style. Let’s Ride.

Race 1: 1 1/16 Mile. S.MC 20000

#6 Mr Cougar (5/1) – Going two sprints to a route, he’s dropping in class and has upside.

Race 2: 6 Furlongs. F.Clm 10000n2L

*Gullet Shot of the Day #4 C C’s Baby Girl (10/1) – She’s had troubled trips in her last two starts and is dropping in class today.  The Conductor likes the improvement she’s shown this year.

Race 3: 1 1/16 Mile. F.Clm 8000

#4 Edisto Island (4/1) – This filly is taking a big drop in class and has a pace advantage over this group. She can take them all the way around.

Race 4: 6 Furlongs. F.Clm 10000n2L

#3 Kennedell (6/1) – 1^st off the claim for Broberg, if you draw a line her last race, she’s the one to beat. The Conductor will back her at that price.

Race 5: 1 Mile. Clm 25000

*Never a Doubt Bottle Service Lock of the Day #7 All About Ashley (5/2) – 1^st off the claim for Broberg, again.

Race 6: 1 1/16 Mile. Alw 85000n3L

#7 Determinant (5/2) – This gelding has a strong late kick and will get pace to run at today.

Race 7: 6 Furlongs. Mdn 83k

#6 Cabot (4/1) – This colt closed for a good 3^rd in his debut, wide into a slow pace.  The winner of that race came back to win again.

Race 8: 1 Mile. F.OC 50000n3x

#1 Mo’s MVP (15/1) – Shipping in off the layoff, she’ll get a good trip today, on or up close to a slow pace. The Conductor will key her in the trifecta at a big number.

Race 9: 6 Furlongs. F.MC 62500

#5 Carolina Beach (4/1) – Dropping in class and cutting back to a sprint, the Conductor loves her.

Oaklawn Park: Throat Shot Thursday

A 5/1 winner to start the card at Gulfstream yesterday.  The Conductor kept swinging, but Gulfstream was very elusive after that.  The Conductor has had enough of Gulfstream and likes the Oaklawn card today.  A quick trip down to Arkansas never hurt anybody.  Oaklawn doesn’t have the Stamina to go 12 rounds with the Conductor.  Let’s Ride.

Race 1: 6 Furlongs. Clm 16000n2L

#4 E Rated (6/1) – Shipping in off a long layoff, this boy has serious early speed and his lightly raced.  Send him right to the front and bury them.

Race 2: 6 Furlongs. F.S. MC 16000

#5 All the Things (5/2) – She looks like she’ll beat this tepid group.

Race 3: 6 Furlongs. F.Clm 6250

*Gullet Shot of the Day #7 Supercede (6/1) – Dropping in class, she’s caught a sloppy track in her last two starts.  She loves to win races and will be ready to fire 2nd off a layoff.

Race 4: 6 Furlongs. F.Alw 85000n3L

#6 Painterone (9/2) – This filly was very game in her return to the races last start. 2nd off the layoff the Conductor sees her running even better.

Race 5: 1 Mile. Mdn 83k

#3 Justice of War (6/1) – 2nd off the layoff, stretching out for the first time, this 550k colt has potential.

Race 6: 6 Furlongs. F.OClm 50000

#1 Mucha Mezquina (9/2) – This filly set a blistering pace last start vs tougher and still ran 3rd.  That price is tasty
