The Conductor is 0/7 thus far at Belmont this weekend, adding two losers to the tally Sunday. He should have gone on vacation. However, it only takes one good day to turn your life around in this game. We have by far the best card of the weekend today too. The pony gods will be watching over us on this beautiful Memorial Day. Time to take advantage. Skip.

Race 2: 6 Furlongs. (Inner Turf) F.S.OC 45000n2x

#1 Road to Remember (8/1) – The Conductor likes two horses in here that are exiting the same race. The first one is this filly, who was sandwiched start, then pressed the pace 3-wide and uncovered before stopping. She had absolutely no chance that day and actually ran well all things considered. 2nd off the layoff today, she draws well and her form last fall gives her every chance to beat this group.

#4 Shinful (6/1) – This filly was also obliterated at the break last time and still did some running to finish only 2 1/2 lengths behind the winner. The Conductor thinks she liked the switch back to turf and she should step forward in her 2nd turf start for the Donk barn today. The Conductor grantees she’ll be a higher price than this morning line as well.

Race 5: 1 1/6 Mile. (Inner Turf) F.S.Alw 80000n1x

*Gullet Shot of the Day #2 Lady Jasmine (12/1) – The Conductor likes another pair of prices in the 5th race on this fine Monday. Throw out her last race in the slop, Lady Jasmine ran better than it looks on the turf two starts back. She had a bad trip that day and still ran well. She was floated out 4-wide on turn, re-rallied mid stretch and finished strong, galloping out in front. That race was off the layoff and you know she has talent, since she won her debut at Saratoga last summer. Making her 2nd turf start as a 3-year-old, the Conductor sees her popping a career best effort.

Memorial Day

#6 Collaboration (6/1) – The Conductor must use this filly too, using basically the same angle. She ran well in the same race as Lady Jasmine on the turf two starts back and ran poorly in the slop last time. In that turf race, she chased the pace 3-wide around the 1st turn and she was uncovered her entire journey. Getting back to the turf for Linda Rice, who is soon to be gonzo from the NYRA, Collaboration can certainly beat this field.
