It was a slow weekend for the Conductor as he kept his chips relatively close to vest.  Breeders Cup is right around the corner and we need to continue to build our bankroll, so we can rob Churchill blind.  The Conductor will have his plays for every day this week and next week he’ll focus on the Cup.  The trains gearing up to go full speed, to Parx we go, Let’s Ride.

Race 4: 7 Furlongs. F.Clm 40000n2L

*Gullet Shot #3 Canoochee (20/1) – She’s steadily improving and romped in the slop last start to break her maiden.  A repeat performance makes her competitive against this group and the Conductor loves her early pace figs.  There is no early speed in this field and she should get a very favorable trip on or near the lead.

Race 5: 5 ½ Furlongs. F.Clm 8000

*Never a Doubt Grocery Shopping for the week Lock of the Day #1 One Tough Angel (4/1) – Her last performance stands out above this group.  She steps up in class, but with her early speed and wins above this level in the past, the Conductor likes her a lot.  We also get the 1A Congressionalstorm, who the Conductor likes as well.

Parx

Race 6: 1 Clm. 16000

*Trachea Breaker #10 Cheddar Chubb (20/1) – This Ol’ boy returned to form last start, winning as he returned to the claiming ranks.  He always runs well at Parx and his last race fits right in against this group.  The Conductor will key in on him at a big number.

Race 7: 1 Mile. S.Alw 41000b

#3 Brevard Place (15/1) – I guess the Parx morning line maker doesn’t respect Presque Isle downs?  His last race would beat this group and he shortens in distance today.  The Conductor dares Parx to give him 15/1.

Race 8: 1m70yds. Alw 46000n1x

#6 Fiery Opal (3/1) – He is an absolute stand out in here.  The layoff is the only chance that can get him beat.

#2 Cowboy Night (30/1) – 100/1 or not this gelding’s last race at Parx makes him competitive.  He drops in class, is working well, adds blinkers.  What’s not to like?

Race 9: 1m70yds. MC 10000

#3 Border Agent (6/1) – He has some upside switching to dirt for the first time after running some decent races on turf.  This group stinks and the Conductor likes him best.
