Keeneland time, Let’s Ride.
Race 1: 6 ½ Furlongs. F.Mdn 67k
#3 Urban Insight (4/1) – She has the highest early pace figs and is working well off a long layoff. She showed ability in her debut and trainer Charles LoPresti is 19% with a +$2.56 ROI with runners off a 3 month+ layoff this year.
Race 2: 6 ½ Furlongs. MC 15000
#6 Gambler’s Choice (3/1) – He’s lightly raced, working well, dropping in class and has run a figure above par for this level at Keeneland. That’s good enough for the Conductor.
Race 3: 6 Furlongs. OC75000n2L
#1 Preamble (7/5) – Tough to go against the heavy favorite in here. His debut win was far superior to any race run by his competitors today. He’s working well and looks like a cinch.
Race 4: 1 ½ Mile. (Turf) Alw 71000n2x
*Gullet Shot of the Day #5 Altito (12/1) – With an impressive 4-length victory on dirt last time, this gelding switches back to the turf, where he narrowly missed two starts back. He can get the distance, is in great form, and is a proven winner, he has every chance.
Race 5: 6 Furlongs. F.MC 75000
#6 Carry the One (20/1) – She drops in class today and has been posting bullet works while she’s been away from the track. She also gets Lasix for the first time and the Conductor won’t be surprised when she wins at a monster number.
Race 6: 6 ½ Furlongs. F.Clm 30000b
#5 No Cacha Na (4/1) – She should improve returning to dirt and is taking a major drop in class. She has figures above par for this level and trainer Tom Amoss is 31% with a +$1.03 moving horses from turf to dirt.
Race 7: 5 ½ Furlongs. (Turf) F. Alw 69000n1x
*Never a Doubt Bottle Service Lock of the Day #9 Pocket Book (4/1) – She’s the speed of the speed in this sprint and is posting monster works. She has the best speed figs in the field, shortens in distance, and drops in class. Give the Conductor his money.
Race 8: 1 1/16 Mile. F. OC 100000n2x
#6 Jump Ruler (7/2) – This race of devoid of any pace and she should get the easiest of trips on or near the lead. She was overmatched vs Grade 1 company last time, but her race two back smashes this field. Another easy winner.
Race 9: 1 1/16 Mile (Turf) F. G3 Valley View Stakes
#7 Colonia (6/1) – The Conductor thought she ran sneaky well in the G2 Sands Point last start. It was a moderate pace and she was closing strongly after being hung 7-wide in the turn. This is a wide open race and she has a good a chance as any with a clean trip.
Race 10: 7 Furlongs. Mdn 67k
#8 Locally Owned (5/2) – 7f is a tough distance for 1st time starters at Keeneland to get. This colt ran well in his debut, should appreciate the added distance and has experience.
