8/1 Winner #3 Carlisle Belle in the 5th at Belmont yesterday made it a decent day for the Conductor. Thank god it’s Friday, Let’s Ride.
Race 1: 1 1/16 Mile. (Inner Turf) F.S.MC 40000
#4 Fika (4/1) – The Conductor can’t take the favorite in here. This girl drops to the claiming ranks for the first time and trainer Joe Sharp is 22% with a +$0.47 ROI with runners off a layoff this year.
Race 2: 7 Furlongs. (Turf) S.OC 40000n2x
#2 Ghost Giant (12/1) – The last time he ran at this distance at Belmont, he won easy. Getting back to what he wants, he offers value.
Race 3: 1 Mile. MC 30000
*Never a Doubt Friday Night Bottle Service Lock of the Day #4 Ari’s Naughty Luca (1/1) – The Conductor sees her winning with ease.
Race 4: 1 1/16 Mile. (Inner Turf) S.Clm 25000
#7 Big Thicket (8/1) – He’s only run once on the turf, and he ran a good 3rd. His dirt form is competitive on numbers and trainer James Ferraro is 11% with a +$2.44 ROI switching runners from dirt to turf.
Race 5: 5 Furlongs. Mdn 80k
#5 Three Technique (5/2) – This colt can clog up two gaps nicely.
Race 6: 1 Mile. (Turf) Mdn 80k
#1 Perceived (5/1) – One of the two Chad Brown horses will obviously win the race. The 1st timer on the rail is working very well by all counts.
Race 7: 6 ½ Furlongs. S.Clm 40000
#2 Dr Lloyd (5/1) – He’s been working well so the Conductor isn’t concerned about the layoff, especially with these connections. He showed talent in his first two starts.
Race 8: 1 3/8 Mile. (Inner Turf) F.OC 62500n2x
*Gullet Shot of the Day #4 War Conoe (10/1) – This mare made up 4 lengths in the stretch, losing into a tepid pace last time. The Conductor will key her in the exacta and trifecta.
Race 9: 1 1/16 Mile. (Turf) F.S.Alw 66000n1x
#1 Flush (5/1) – She’s bred to be better on the grass and has shown real ability on dirt. Getting to run on the lawn for the first time, the Conductor loves her.
