A positive Thursday with a few winners lets the Conductor load up for the late pick 4 at Keeneland. With a ton of big racing on the route tomorrow, the Conductor narrows his focus today. What a smart man. Let’s hit this thing and have a hell of a weekend, Let’s Ride.
Race 7: 1 1/16 Mile. (Turf) Alw 75000b
#1 Parlor (3/1) – Drawn well to the inside, he finished 3rd vs tougher last start. He closed well into a tepid pace and has the strongest late kick in this field. Another Kentucky Downs shipper that will win on the Keeneland turf.
Race 8: 1 1/6 Mile. Alw 69000n1x
*Never a Doubt Bottle Service Lock of the Day #6 Hollywood Star (5/1) – Exiting two sprint races at Saratoga, he should show some early speed in a race without much pace. His best races have been routing and he was Grade 2 placed as a 2-year-old. He’s working well and looks to be ready for a top performance.
Race 9: 5½ Furlongs. (Turf) F. Buffalo Trace Franklin County Stakes – G3
#12 Ruby Notion (5/1) – Winner of her 1st Grade 3 last start, this mare has never been better. She continues to improve in Darrin Miller’s barn. She has enough early gas to stay close to the pace, along with the fitness to finish strong. What a great betting race this is.
Race 10: 7 Furlongs. Clm 20000b
#11 Because It’s Time (4/1) – The long layoff is a concern for the Conductor with these low % connections, but his numbers stand out against this field. If he shows up with a B effort that will be good enough to beat this group and at 4/1 its worth a bet.
#3 Come On Dover (4/1) – Taking a massive class drop, he showed good early speed before fading last start. He looks to be rounding into form and has run multiple races early in the year that would blow this field away.
