After a great Saturday, the train came off the rails at Santa Anita yesterday.  The Conductor couldn’t hit the broad side of the barn.  Let’s start the workweek off right at Parx, Let’s Ride. JK Racing cancelled.

Race 1: 6½ Furlongs. F.MC 40000

#7 Ana Lass (4/1) – This filly is drawn well to the outside and this group is very week.  Trainer Alfredo Velazquez is 3/8 with a +$3.33 ROI debuting maiden claimers this year.

Race 2: 1 Mile. Clm 25000n2L

#2 Li’l Dude L Do It (5/1) – He made an early move into a hot pace and held on for 2nd at this level last race.

Race 3: 1 1/4 Mile. MC 10000

#4 Super Owen (2/1) – Going two sprints to a route he’s not a proven loser.  He has upside.

Race 4: 5½ Furlongs. Clm 7500n4L

#1 Ask Chuck (6/1) – His last race was the fastest by far in this field on the Conductor’s numbers.

Race 5: 6 Furlongs. F.MC 10000

#6 Yes it’s Dyna (3/1) – The Conductor doesn’t have a strong opinion here.

Race 6: 1m70yds. F.Clm 25000n3L

*Gullet Shot of the Day #1`Silver Excess (8/1) – 2nd off the layoff she’s dropping in class and has run the fastest figures at this distance.  She’s her best at Parx as well.


Race 7: 6 Furlongs. F.Clm 12500

#5 Dancin Debbie (6/1) – This filly’s win last race was better than it looks, closing into a slow pace. She loves to win races.

Race 8: 1 1/16 Mile. Alw 12500s

#2 Pumpkin Star (8/1) – This gelding’s last race makes him very competitive against this field. It will be his 2nd start off the claim for top trainer Michael Pino.

Race 9: 6½ Furlongs. F.Alw 46000n1x

*Never a Doubt Week Starter #2 Flashndynamite (8/5) – This girl doesn’t lose at Parx.


Race 10: 6 Furlongs. Clm 7500n2L

#3 Billyjeansmyboy (5/1) – He’ll get the early lead against a weak group.
