The 7/1 late double with the lock of the day kept the Conductor alive yesterday. But the game of life is not about staying alive, we want to thrive! Let’s hit some prices at Parx today, Let’s Ride.
Race 1: 1 Mile. F.Clm 7500n2L
#7 Creative Process (9/2) – She’s making a huge class drop today and is lightly raced. Trainer Scott Lake is 16% with a +$1.86 ROI with runners off a 3-month+ layoff this year.
Race 2: 6 Furlongs. F.Clm 25000n3L
*Never a Doubt Free Money Lock of the Day #8 Sandy Mischief (2/1) – She’s steadily progressing, cutting back in distance and she beat tougher last start. She looks like a free square.
Race 3: 1 Mile. F.S.Clm 30000
#6 Sweet Maggie Mae (8/1) – This mare fond her form last start and won easy despite having to close into a slow pace. She’ll likely take another step forward today with the Pennington/Zulueta jockey/trainer combo.
Race 4: 6 Furlongs. F.Clm 12500
#4 Lou’s Chardonnay (5/1) – A winner at Saratoga this summer, this filly has back class and set the pace vs tougher last start. She held on for 3rd that race and the winner also came back to win her next start.
Race 5: 7 Furlongs. F.Clm 10000
#7 Atina Salsa (4/1) – She’s drawn well to the outside and has a speed advantage over the field. She’ll be able to dictate pace of the race on an easy lead.
Race 6: 6 Furlongs. F.Mdn 45k
*Gullet Shot of the Day #1 Nightlife (6/1) – Shipping in from Laurel for top connections this girl’s early pace figures are off the charts. She will run them off their feet.
Race 7: 5½ Furlongs. Clm 16000
#1A Draxhall Woods (6/1) – This Ol Man still shows up and runs his race and he should get a perfect setup in this race. Everyone else will be gunning for the lead and he will wait and pounce.
Race 8: 7 Furlongs. Mdn 45k
#8 Mission Oberon (12/1) – He’s steadily improved while stepping up in class and ran a good 2nd at this level last start. Trainer Michelle Castillo is 17% with a +$8.03 ROI cutting horses back from a route to sprint this year.
Race 9: 6 ½ Furlongs. Alw 25000n1x
#12 Hitmewthurbestshot (5/2) – Pennington/Servis at Parx, enough said.
Race 10: 1 Mile. Clm 10000
#7 Vegas Strip (8/1) – He’s been in over his head in his last three starts and hasn’t shown up. He takes a massive class drop at Parx today to a level where he fits.
