The Conductor is colder than ice. Let’s Ride.
Race 1: 1 Mile (Turf) OC 625000n2x
#6 Choo Choo (8/1) – Choooooooooooooo!!!!!! Chooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!! He’s the Conductor, he doesn’t have a choice.
Race 2: 6 Furlongs. MC 20000
*Never A Doubt God Guarantee Lock of the Day #8 Shanghai Billy (5/2) – Drawn well to the outside, he plunges in class today and has the fastest figures in the field to his name. The Conductor believes he’s a cinch.
Race 3: 1 Mile. Clm 10000
#4 Banze No Oeste (3/1) – He stepped up in class and caught a wet track last start. His win two back against similar competition will be good enough to win again today.
Race 4: 6½ Furlongs. MC 16000
#8 Raggy Rocks (10/1) – He’s drawn well for solid connections and his dam has produced 5 winners from 7 starters, including 3 stakes winners.
Race 5: 6½ Furlongs. F.Mdn 55k
#2 Three Quarter Time (9/2) – This filly went for 200k at the Keeneland sale and Mike Smith never rides for trainer Thomas Procter, especially when there are two Baffert runners in the race. Smith is riding her for a reason.
Race 6: 6½ Furlongs. (Turf) MC 50000
#5 Lake Show (20/1) – Trainer Tim Yakteen has surprised with debut turf runners recently. The Conductor is swinging for the fences today.
Race 7: 6 Furlongs. MC 20000
#7 Contagion (5/1) – Nobody with experience has run close to a par figure in this field, so the Conductor will turn to a 1st timer. His sire wins 20% with debut runners.
Race 8: 1½ Mile. (Turf) F.G3 Astra Stakes
#7 Copper Fever (30/1) – This may be the weakest Grade 3 field you’ll ever see. You can’t take a short price in here. This girl is progressing in the Dallas Craig barn and the Conductor liked her gutsy win last start.
Race 9: 6 Furlongs. F.Clm 12500n2L
*Gullet Shot of the Day #5 Majestic Authority (15/1) – She’s been eased in her last two starts but has been posting consistent works since then. Her races prior to injury give her every chance against this group. The Conductor will take a shot that she’s ready to run.
Race 10: 6½ Furlongs. (Turf) F.Alw 57000n1x
#5 Spy Ring (8/1) – This mare is coming off a layoff, but she’s run well in these scenarios before, so that’s no concern. She has good early speed and gets back to a sprint today where she’s run her best.
