A few winners including the gullet shot of the day yesterday at Gulfstream Park got the train back into gear. We needed something positive before we headed into the weekend and that’s when the Conductor is always at his best. It’s time to deliver the goods, Let’s Ride.
Heeeeeeeeeeeee’s Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.
Race 1: 7 Furlongs. MC 35000
*Gullet Shot of the Day #3 Silver Drill (15/1) – Best early speed figures, working well and Irad hops aboard. The Conductor is out for blood right out of the gates.
Race 2: 1 1/16 Mile. (Turf) Clm 16000
#6 Immunity (15/1) – He has low % connections, but his figures and class make him competitive in this group. The Conductor will key this bomb in the trifecta.
Race 3: 5 Furlongs. (Turf) F.OC 75000n1x
#2 Flashy Doll (6/1) – She’s unraced on turf, but her last win on dirt would bury this field. Her dam has produced 2 turf winners and she has top connections.
Race 4: 6 Furlongs. Clm 12500n2L
#4 It’s a New Year (5/2) – Navarro will win these races at Gulfstream no matter what year it is.
Race 5: 1 1/16 Mile. G3 Harlan’s Holiday Stakes
#1 Audible (2/5) – Nothing to see here.
Race 6: 6 Furlongs. MC 25000
#1 Blue Sky Venezuela (4/1) – The rail has been good and the Conductor doesn’t like any of the others.
Race 7: 1 Mile. Mdn 60k
#4 Rack Gin (12/1) – Irad hops aboard this 1st time starter for a small barn, which the Conductor always like to see. He’s working like a monster.
Race 8: 1 Mile. F.G3 Rampart Stakes
*Never A Doubt Locked In Lock of the Day #1 Electric Forest (3/1) – This lightly raced Chad Brown filly has already run figures that can beat this group and runners only improve in his barn. The Conductor can feel the electricity in his plumbs.
Race 9: 1 Mile. (Turf) F.G3 My Charmer Stakes
#6 La Moneday (5/1) – This mare is steadily progressing and has won 4 of her last 5 starts. She gets back to the mile distance today, where she’s 4/4 lifetime.
Race 10: 6 Furlongs. F.G3 Sugar Swirl Stakes
#7 Dream Pauiline (4/1) – Her win two starts back at Saratoga showed that she has all the upside in the word. She had had a troubled trip last time at Gulfstream Park and is primed to run her best in her 2nd start off the layoff today.
Race 11: 1 1/8 Mile. (Turf) -G2 Fort. Lauderdale Stakes
#6 Blacktype (12/1) – His last two races have been very impressive, setting blistering paces and still getting the job done. This old boy is nails and must be respected.
