#2 Vangilder (5/2) – Plunging in class in his first start for Kent Desormeaux, he showed real ability in his debut.

Race 4: 1 1/8 Mile. (Turf) Mdn 55k

#6 Mutineer (12/1) – He didn’t like the hill last start, but the Conductor won’t hold that against him.  He’s run well sprinting on dirt and is bred to be better on the lawn.

Race 5: 6½ Furlongs. S.Mdn 55k

#2 Curry (5/1) – He’s working well, and trainer Bruce Headley is 26% with a +$3.64 ROI with debut runners this year.

Race 6: 1 Mile. (Turf) F.Mdn 55k

*Gullet Shot of the Day #9 Live the Moment (20/1) – This 475k filly will get her first try going long on the grass, which is what she’s bred to do.

#4 Lucky Val (5/1) – She adds blinkers today and has the best figures at the distance.

Race 8: 6½ Furlongs. (Turf) F.Wishing Well Stakes

*Never a Doubt Chiseled in Stone Lock of the Day #7 Belvoir Bay (5/2) – They can’t beat her on this turf course.

Race 9: 7 Furlongs. F.G2 Santa Monica Stakes

#4 Dream Tree (4/1) – The Conductor’s not sure what happened last race, but it was too bad to be believed.  He’s got talent and the Conductor will give him another shot.

Race 10: 6½ Furlongs. (Turf) MC 50000

#1 Kichiro (4/1) – He’s dropping in class and the race he’s exiting has come back very live.

Fair Grounds Race 12: 1 1/16 Mile. G2 Risen Star Stakes

#9 Country House (20/1) – Engulfing the field, closing into a slow pace to break his maiden last start, he’s working well and Saez ships in to ride for a reason.
