The final week at Saratoga is upon us. It all comes down to this. The Conductor is in a hole deeper than the grand canyon……but it only takes one pony. Let’s Ride.
Race 1: Hurdle Race – Pass
Race 2: 6 Furlongs. F.OC 25000s
#5 Le Weekend (3/1) – This mare is a hark knocker and her figures fit right in with the favorites in here. Shipping in Colonial, the Conductor is expecting her to be an overlay.
Race 3: 1 1/16 Mile. (Turf) F.S.OC 40000n2x
#1 Dynamite Kitten (4/1) – She showed a good late lick last time, closing into a slow pace. She gets back to her best distance today.
Race 4: 6 Furlongs. F.Mdn 90k
#3 Doll Collercion (4/1) – She stumbled at the break last time and she was steadily progressing until then. The Conductor likes that Johnny V hops aboard.
Race 5: 1 Mile. (Inner Turf) F.Clm 40000
*Atom Bomb Shot of the Day #5 Alvernia (30/1) – This filly didn’t a run a step in the slop last time, but her win two back on dirt was competitive for this level. She’s stretching out and trying the grass for the first time and her breeding has some turf influences. She’ll be the biggest price on the board and the Conductor will key her underneath in the trifecta like the sicko he is.
Race 6: 6 Furlongs. S.Mdn 78k
#4 Lorenzen (5/1) – This colt is working well for Casse and his dam has produced 7 winners from 9 starter. RIP to the legend Hefty Lefty who passed away this year.
Race 7: 5 ½ Furlongs. (Turf) F.Mdn 90k
#5 Jazzique (5/1), #6 Selflessly (8/1) – The Conductor will take the two Chads and carry on.
Race 8: 6 Furlongs. Alw 50000s
#6 Smile Bryan (3/1) – He’s drawn well to the outside at Saratoga and looks to get a perfect stalking trip in this one. He just missed at this level last time.
Race 9: 1 1/16 Mile. (Inner Turf) G3 With Anticipation Stakes
#2 Our Country (7/2) – The Conductor was very impressed by his maiden breaker last start. He showed a thunderous finish, blowing away the field.
Race 10: 5 ½ Furlongs. F.MC 40000
#12 Beans and Rice (30/1) – Did Carona racing Buy a Conductor t- shirt?
