A great late half of the card at Belmont on this fine Saturday. If the Conductor spends more time in the sun this weekend he’s going to be a part of the leather skin club. Time to head to the beach and pick up a lump of cash. This late pick 4 looks delightful headlined by the Belmont Derby. Let’s Ride.
Race 8: 7 Furlongs. G2 John A. Nerud Stakes
*Never a Doubt Late Pick 4 Single Lock of the Day #7 Do Share (7/2) – He had a troubled trip and no pace to run at last time. The Conductor has been awaiting to play him back.
Race 9: 1 1/4 Mile. (Inner Turf) G1 Belmont Derby
*Gullet Shot of the Day #9 Cape of Good Hope (10/1) – This is a spread race for the Conductor. This colt has very strong European form and had a troubled trip over soft ground last start. The Conductor will forgive that effort.
Also Use: 2,3,7,8,11,12,13,14
Race 10: 1 1/4 Mile. G2 Suburban Stakes
#2 Preservationist (5/1) – 2nd off the layoff, he’s steadily progressing and gets the acid test today. The Conductor is a little against #1 Catholic Boy (9/5) in this spot.
#7 Wooderson (12/1) – He looks to get a good trip up close to a slow pace and the Conductor likes his steady progression.
#11 Pavel (8/1) – If he doesn’t show up today, he’s dead to the Conductor. The Conductor is a suborn man and will give him one more chance.
Race 11: 1 Mile. (Turf) F.Mdn 80k
#1 Downstream (12/1) – The Conductor will use her with the with the Chad Brown runners, #9 and #11. In her debut she contested the pace with Newspaperofrecord. That’s all the Conductor needs to see at a big price.
