1/2 Lock, a 5/1 winner and a few decent underneath exactas made it a positive Thursday for the Conductor. It’s time to get the train into 2nd gear and have it humming into the weekend. Let’s have ourselves a Friday at Santa Anita, Let’s Ride.
Post Time 3:30pm ET Race 1: F.MC 30000

#4 Proper Drink (4/1) – Her numbers fit for this level and all the Conductor wants is the strongest, tallest drink in the world right now.
Race 3: 1 Mile. F.OC 80000n1x
#1 Boujie Girl (4/1) – She’s got serious early gas and has been battle tested vs Grade 1 company. If you’re trying to beat the heavy favorite #2 Quahira (6/5), she’s your girl.
Race 4: 1 1/8 Mile. (Turf) F.Mdn 55k
#3 Confidentially (6/1) – This filly has shown strong late pace figures on dirt in her first two starts and she’s bred to like the grass. Additionally, she will improve with the added distance and surface switch.
Race 5: 1 Mile. Clm 20000
*Never a Doubt Bottle Service Lock of the Day #5 Little Scotty (2/1) – In a race without much pace, she’ll dictate the race on the front end. She’s also been facing much tougher and will like facing the weaker rivals.
Race 6: 6 ½ Furlongs. MC 80000
#7 Platinum Nights (2/1) – He posted a very sharp work last week and is drawn well to the outside. He ran a good 2nd at this level last start trying to close into a slow pace.

Race 8: 1 Mile. F.62500n2x
#8 Blazinbeauty (8/1) – She returns to the Santa Anita dirt, where she’s run her best and is the only closer in the field. Moreover, they are going to fly in front of her and she’ll get a perfect trip today waiting at the back of the pack and making one run late. She may not win, but will make the exacta pay nicely when she gets up for 2nd.
Race 9: 6 ½ Furlongs. (Turf) F.S.Mdn 55k
*Gullet Shot of the Day #7 Lucky Lately (6/1) – She was well bet and didn’t fire in her debut, but her workouts leading into today suggest this filly can really run. The Conductor will give her another chance at a better number today.
